2010 Season Preview
The 2010 season will be the fifth year for Dunn-Olivieri Racing and should prove to a challenge for both the race team and its driver Russ Dunn. The end of 2009 provided a few in the Dunn-Olivieri Racing Garage as gone in the #47 Shaw Chassis car the team raced last year as it was sold in order to purchase a Rocket Chassis Late Model that the team will run at selected races toward the end of the race season. Back is the teams Rocket Chassis E-Mod that sat idle last year while Dunn drove the new Shaw Chassis E-Mod. Updates have been made on the car and to the engine in hopes the ‘Old Girl” has a few more wins in her.
The other major change will be the number Dunn will be running on the car this year as the number will change from the Dunn # 47 to the 222* for 2010 In 2009 Dunn drove twelve races for car owner Jim Clinger of Clinger Built E-Mods and Triple Duce Racing (222) and will drive one of the (222) house cars this year. Dunn will run weekly for the Triple Duce Race Team on Friday nights at Raceway 7 and for the 2010 track championship.
Running the Dunn-Olivieri Rocket # 222* , the Clinger Built # 222* and the # 47 Dunn-Olivieri Rocket Late Model should make 2010 an interesting and hopefully a memorable one.
