The 2009 season will be the fourth for Dunn-Olivieri Racing. The three previous years have been very successful with a pair of track championships, multiple feature wins and a outstanding top five finish ratio. One might wonder what can the team to do to improve? This year the debut of a new Larry Shaw E-Mod will be powered by a Domhoff Racing Engines and clad with American Race Tires.
Dunn-Olivieri Racing this year will be racing weekly, but as in the past two season has elected not to run for a points championship at any one particular track. Often called by several track announcers as the “Road Warriors” the team will once again take to the road as often as possible. A good part of being on the road will be as the team will take part in the sophomore season of the UMES E-Mod Series races scheduled in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia. Following the series last year, and despite missing one race finished fourth in the series points.
Dunn- Olivieri Racing once again will be helping in collecting hats for 16 year old TJ Bertges. TJ is battling a form of leukemia called Acute Lympoblastic Leukemia Pro-B (A.L.L.) TJ continues to accept his challenges in a different way.and is still collecting hats from anywhere and everywhere in his efforts to try and break a world record. The current count is some 12,000 different hats, The road to the record is a long one,but to someone who is battling any form of cancer that road is a longer one. One of the tracks that has been a big supporter of TJ is Lernerville Speedway as they collect hat for TJ every week.
Returning this year is Racing for Kids” a program that brings the joys of racing to the kids in many different ways both on and off the track. Keep checking the web site as more information becomes available.

The 2009 edition of Dunn-Olivieri Racing will begin Saturday March 28, 2009 at Mercer Raceway Park in the annual “Chiller Thriller ” and the season opener for the United E Mod Series.
