Hartford, OH – Saturday night was the fourth race of 2008 for Dunn-Olivieri racing,and also mark the fourth season opener the team has participated in (Mercer, Challenger, Tri-City,Sharon) thus far in 2008. Fifteen teams from Pennsylvania and Ohio participated in E-Mod at the 3/8 mile Hartford oval.

The first of two heat races had Dunn starting seventh in the first eight lap heat race. Quickly by lap two had Dunn into the and onto the first heat win of the year. Sharon Speedway this year has the fans drawing for the starting positions for the feature, and the invert had Dunn staring sixth in the 15 lap feature.

The race had two cautions and both came on the first lap. Gaining one position to fifth on the restart of the race, the next fifteen laps went green. Moving to second by lap four, Russ tried to run down the leader but in the end settled for a second place finish.

This week will be a busy one for Dunn-Oliiveri Racing as they will hit the road visiting Raceway 7 Friday May 16th for the 4th annual E-Mod Race of Champions and also the evenings regular show, then on Saturday May 17th at Sharon Speedway and will close the weekend on May 18th at PPMS, to take part in the second leg UFo www.ufochampionship.com F-2 Shockwave special.
